Display Week is the world’s premier event for information display technologies, covering 18 major display sectors, including MicroLED, OLED, LCD, Quantum Dot, and E-Paper. More than 230 companies from across the display supply chain—from materials and equipment providers to panel manufacturers and application developers—will participate in the three-day exhibition, showcasing their latest technologies, products, and innovations.

In addition to the exhibition, Display Week features over 110 technical sessions and more than 670 presentations throughout the week. The program includes renowned keynote speeches, short courses, technical seminars, business, investor and market-focused forums, as well as a variety of networking events. These activities provide attendees with extensive opportunities to learn about cutting-edge developments, exchange ideas with industry leaders, and explore future trends shaping the display ecosystem.



Previous editions of Display Week have attracted more than 7,000 attendees from over 40 countries and regions worldwide. Participants include leading consumer electronics companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, LG, TCL, Hisense, and BOE, as well as major automotive manufacturers including Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, Honda, and Nissan. The event also draws prominent semiconductor companies such as Intel, AMD, TSMC, NVIDIA, ASML, and Qualcomm, alongside global materials and chemical industry leaders including 3M, Merck, Applied Materials, BASF, and Corning. The convergence of these diverse industries fosters cross-sector collaboration, accelerates technological innovation, and drives the continued advancement of the global display industry.

SID Display Week

The Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week (DW), commonly known as Display Week, is held annually in the United States during May or June. Organized by the Society for Information Display (SID), it is recognized as the world's largest and most influential event and exhibition dedicated to display technologies and applications.


China Delegation Program

The Society for Information Display China (SID China) organizes annual delegation visits to SID Display Week, along with technical exchange activities and visits to leading U.S.-based and multinational companies.


As SID’s official presence in China, SID China is committed to bringing the latest technological advancements and industry insights to China's display community while promoting collaboration among academia, industry, and research institutions. SID China plans to organize a Chinese delegation to attend Display Week, including exhibition visits, technical exchanges, introductions to the investment and financing environment, and visits to relevant U.S. companies.


This program will provide an excellent opportunity for in-depth communication between China’s display industry and international optoelectronics companies and professionals, fostering global collaboration and creating valuable business networking and partnership opportunities.

SID Display Week 2026 Overview

From May 3–8, 2026, the SID Display Week 2026 (DW 2026) was grandly held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California, USA. The event attracted nearly 6,000 participants from 30 countries and regions. To foster international collaboration, SID China organized a series of activities during the event, including the Vision Night dinner, exhibition tours, company visits and exchanges, Chinese networking gatherings, and sightseeing tours.

Opening Ceremony and Keynote Presentations
On the morning of May 5, the official opening of SID Display Week 2026 took place in Los Angeles, bringing together participants from around the world. During the ceremony, Dr. Yan Qun officially assumed the role of SID Global President, becoming the first Chinese leader to head the society since its founding in 1962 in Silicon Valley.

The opening also recognized contributions from the 2025 SID Display Week Program Committee Chair, ICDT 2025 Conference Chair, Executive Chair, and Program Committee Chair with the Presidential Citation awards.

SID Individual Awards Ceremony
On the evening of May 5, the SID Awards Dinner was held to honor individuals receiving SID personal accolades. Professor Zhang Shengdong of Peking University was named a SID Fellow, while Mr. Liu Zhiqiang, Senior Vice President of BOE, and Professor Duan Lian of Tsinghua University received Special Recognition Awards.

Exhibition Highlights
During the 2.5-day professional exhibition (May 5–7), over 210 leading display companies and tech firms from around the world participated, including more than 40 Chinese companies showcasing their innovation and product capabilities.

SID China marked its fourth consecutive year with a dedicated "China Pavilion" at Display Week. Participating companies included Raydium, Visionox, Nanjing Chipvision, Novis Technology, Jiangsu Riju Optoelectronics, TopMic Group, and Jingzhida, presenting the latest achievements in China’s display industry.

Diplomat Tour
On May 5 at noon, SID organized a “Diplomat Tour” led by Dr. Yan Qun. Around 10 diplomats from countries including South Korea, Spain, Kenya, the Czech Republic, and China visited major booths such as BOE, TCL CSOT, Tianma, and Samsung to gain firsthand insight into cutting-edge display technologies and innovations, enabling high-level discussions and exchanges.

During Display Week, SID China also arranged technical tour activities for Chinese experts, visiting booths of international companies including LG, Samsung, ALEDIA, PlayNitride, AUO, DNP, Nanosys, Faurecia Clarion Electronics, Corning, FlexEnable, Polar Light, BrightView, Konica Minolta, and Megapixel, exchanging knowledge on display technology trends and industry developments.

Display Industry Awards (DIA) Luncheon
At the DIA luncheon, Lenovo from mainland China received the “Display Application of the Year Award” for its “Thinkbook Plus G6 Laptop with Rollable OLED Display.”

Vision Night Dinner
On the evening of May 6, the “Display of the Future – Vision Night” dinner took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Sponsored and organized by SID China and supported by BOE, TCL CSOT, Tianma, and Visionox, the event gathered over 170 industry leaders, including CEOs, CTOs, and experts from universities and research institutions.

The event was hosted by former SID President Larry Weber and opened by SID President Dr. Yan Qun. Remarks were delivered by BOE Co-CTO Qiu Haijun, TCL CSOT General Manager of Technical Planning Zhou Mingzhong, Tianma Microelectronics US CEO Eric Cheng, and Visionox Overseas General Manager Zhou Renzhong.

Discussion topics focused on:

  • Opportunities and challenges for Asian display companies establishing plants in Europe and the U.S.

  • Breakthroughs in MicroLED technology

  • Wide color gamut displays beyond BT.2020




Demo sessions featured BOE, TCL CSOT, Tianma Microelectronics, Visionox, Raydium, Palomaki Consulting, and VueReal, showcasing their latest technologies and products. The dinner facilitated networking and industry collaboration, providing a strong impetus for innovation in display technologies.


Chinese Networking Dinner
On May 7, SID China hosted a Chinese networking dinner with nearly 50 display industry professionals, fostering enthusiastic and in-depth exchanges.




Company Visits and Campus Tour
On May 8, SID China organized company visits to gain insights into local enterprises’ core operations and innovation initiatives.

  • Verizon Studios, Los Angeles: Focused on 5G Advanced and 6G prototyping and immersive content production, leveraging XR and virtual production technologies to reshape entertainment and network innovation. The delegation explored the studio, interacted with technical teams, and experienced cutting-edge applications.



  • University of Southern California (USC): One of the oldest private research universities on the U.S. West Coast, renowned for film, media, business, engineering, computer science, and game design. USC emphasizes interdisciplinary research and industry-academia collaboration, with advanced labs in immersive media, virtual production, and XR technologies.

Sightseeing
To enrich the delegation’s experience, SID China arranged visits to Los Angeles landmarks, including Pasadena City Hall, Universal Studios Hollywood, West Hollywood Public Library, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Manhattan Beach.
